theticket sells digital event tickets on behalf of event organizers. Because ticket inventory is time-sensitive, most completed purchases are final unless a refund or exchange is required by the organizer, the event status changes, or we confirm a payment issue.

Digital ticket purchases

Tickets issued through theticket are digital access credentials for a specific event, date, time, and ticket tier.

Completed orders are generally non-returnable and non-refundable once payment is successfully captured.

When refunds may be issued

  • If an event is canceled and the organizer instructs us to process refunds.
  • If an event is postponed or materially changed and the organizer approves refunds for affected orders.
  • If the same order is charged more than once because of a confirmed payment or system error.
  • If theticket or the organizer is legally required to provide a refund.

When refunds are not available

  • Change of mind after a successful purchase.
  • Failure to attend an event, late arrival, or inability to use the ticket.
  • Tickets purchased from unauthorized resellers or transferred outside the platform rules.
  • Requests that conflict with the organizer’s published event terms.

How refund requests are handled

Eligible refund requests must be submitted with the order reference and the email address used for the purchase.

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Processing times depend on the payment provider and card issuer.
